First , thanks to the groups support , I have been able to configure my "soft" modem (Conexant) and able to connect to the internet.
BUT.... I have a problem here :- I have installed SUSE Linux Office desktop 8.1 which comes with StarOffice 6.0. Now if I login as "root" all StarOffice Applications run OK, but if I login to the system with another username , created at the time of installation of Linux, I am able to startup StarOffice apps but I cannot save files. I have checked that I have r/w/x perimission enabled for the /home/<user> folder.
