Hi:

I was recently involved in a client project to setup
few Linux desktops (as close as possible to MS Windows).

One of the issues that the client repeatedly raised was
related to 'PLUGINS' in Mozilla browser.

The plugins that are usually taken for granted in MS IE
are:

. Adobe Acrobat Reader
. Adobe SVG Viewer
. Macromedia Flash Player
. RealPlayer 8.0
. Windows Media Player

After searching for information both related to plugin
availability and configuration, I collated this information.

I hope that many other Linux users will find this information
useful.

Mozilla Plugin support on Linux (x86)
http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux.html

Java JRE plugin (applet,JFC support)

Configuration
http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/javalinux.html

JRE - Operating System (gcc/libc) association
http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/whichjava.html

I have tested out the plugins (except CrossOver) stability
with Mozilla 1.3.0 on RHL 7.x / Linux 2.4.18-20
and have had a good experience.

Hope some of you can make use of this information
towards a better Mozilla experience.

Thanks for your time.

thanks
Tom.
