The advantage with the linux is being an open source and aplication suitable
for indian envorioremnt can be developed easily.

Basically data logging operation and as monitoring units for process
machines.

Well it depends on how you look at it.
The power consumption is not a big criteria in industrial application. And
with availabilty of good batteries this should not pose any problem. We are
already in this line and designing a good power supply should not be
problem.

BTW I have aleardy ordered 5 nos of MC68EZ328 and started working on this.
