Hi,

I have a linux ES 2.1 box.
When I log in as root using putty_Exceed, I can access xapplication ( eg:
xclock )
But When I log in as a normal user , I am unable to access X applications
The details aer as follows :
    User Display-Variable Values.
    root localhost:11.0
    user1 localhost:0.0
I think the problem is that the DISPLAY variable is not getting set when the
user logs in.
How can we set the DISPLAY variable such that it picks up the current
DISPLAY settingas and increments it by one.
As far as I know, the offset is set somewhere to 10, so the DISPLAY varibale
start from 10.0

Please help,

Regards,
Vijay.
