Hi,

Is it possible to install Linux with more than 15 partitions? Today I tried it with RH AS 2.1 but failed. Even though the Disk Druid allows to create more than 16 partitions, installation fails during formatting of partitions. fdisk does not allow to create more than 16 partitions, but the 16th partition is not recognized during formatting. Any one tried to get past this limit?

Is 2048 the maximum size for one swap partition? If I want to give 8 Gigs of swap should I create 4 x 2048 swap partitions?

Thanks,

raj
