The main threats that I can think of on our network are:

1. People probing the network from dial-up access (this has already been
noted)

2. Knowledgeable legitimate users trying to acquire access to services
or priveleges they should not be accessing

3. A malicious user trying to attack the network through a laptop
connected to the network (this action is illegal on our network, but
possible).
