I have redhat linux 7.3 . I have 1GB RAM also. The RAM usage is increasing every 10 sec. So 1GB RAM also occupying. once full the RAM Tomcat out of memory error is comming. So every time i am restarting the TOMCAT. I have swap space partition in harddisk also. If i give the command #free. the usage space is 0(zero). why swap partition space is not taking. if i give the command #swapon -a also, the swap space is not using.
how to use the existing swap partition ???
