HiI guess, you would need a your install disk here ;)
Recetly I saw your linux help page. I would appreciate it very much if you can help me. Somehow I mange to remove one library file (/lib/i686/libc.so.6). This is basically a symbolic link to the file libc-2.2.5.so
All you would need to do is start with the install disk. Use the key sequence Ctrl+Alt+F2 or something which can bring you a console.
Mount the root partition, then cd to /lib/i686 then ln -svf libc-2.2.5.so to libc.so.6.
Next time, don't delete the file without knowing its importance or use.
Ram.
Now problem is that system is not booting. How to rectify
the problem? Can you pls. help me. I am using redhat 7.3.
