I had done it once but in a very round about way:

First I installed Netscape(Windows version) within Windows and exported
all mails and address book from Outlook to Netscape (within Windows).

Then I opened Netscape(Linux version) within Linux and used the files
from the Windows-Netcape, nothing was lost :-) As far as I remember, I
was on RH7.0 then.

There must be more efficient ways of doing this of course........
