There are two ways; depends on your need... 1. If u want to take the backup, image of a hard drive go for the Symantech Ghost Cast server (the Best solution for online backup Saves lots of CD's)
2. I f u are looking for a solution for installation purposes there is solution in Linux called kickstart. (If helps in keeping the different configuration for various installation ) something like a network appliance Various links are available on the google....
