Here's the problem : Frequent power cuts. I want my computer to be able to login automatically as root when it is started. From what I understand this can be configured through gdm. The problem is that the system won't autologin as root. It auto logs in as any other user but root. I've enabled all the options in the security tab.(Yes, I know its unsafe.) I'm using RH8.0. Would appreciate some help or a better option for logging in automatically.
