I visited your site "linux-india". After reading about Linus, I would like to have more information on its compatibility with Application softwares developed in Oracle or Microsoft products, Accounting packages like Tally 5.4 etc.
We are a Housing Finance Comany with our head office at Mumbai, Fort. Tel Nos (22884986 / 22851766).
Presently we are using Novell Netware 4.2 as our operating system. We are now thinking of switching over to Windows NT. Since Linux is now becoming more and popular in the IT market, we would like to be guided on whether Linux will be more advantageous to our Company than Windows NT.
