What is ACL (access control list) and how does it relate to XFS? In Linux we have permission per user ,group, and other how it is different from it? Thanking you Komal
ACL in Linux enables us to build permissions for each file user-wise, and/or group-wise,allowing control lists breaking across the traditional user, group, and others. This gives flexibility to the system.ACL patches have to be applied and the kernel reconfigured to be able use them.
