I have installed RHL 9.0 as desktop witha HP DEskjet 670C printer attached on the local printer port. I am sharing the printer with others on the network.
The problem is , printing from my RHL 9.0 box is very slow and I am not able to change the default settings. If I chagne the default settins the printing quality is very bad and it prints mainly garbage only. Moreover if I prints some graphs with few colours or and diagrams with curves in it, the ink spreads only in the diagram.
IF other who are using win98 on the network give the printing on this printre the printing is fast and they are able to change resolution also(i.e draft/ normal/best quality prints). Moreover the diagrams are also prinitng properly.
what coule be wrong?
