May be I am way off but for us synchronizing our server with one of the
many atomic clock public time servers around the world does the job. For
example:
0 8 * * * /usr/sbin/rdate -s ntp.metas.ch
in the crontab and all other machines from use the server as ntp. You
can google for the ntp servers.
