My 2cents: I suggest you to look at OpenOffice.org, it provides a lot of enhancements with the present version 1.1rc(1/2), including PDF export and stuff like that its quite easy to use and I am sure you wont find any problem using it. And would be able to get a more or less WYSIWYG.
