/etc/profile is used for system wide environment variables. You may go like CLASSPATH=/usr/local/java/lib/;/usrs/local/java/; export CLASSPATH
in your /etc/profile. You may set/write all these variables in some file and get it executed as with dot (.) ". /path-to/file/tobe-excecuted" in your /etc/profile. -Yash ----- Original Message ----- From: "pvs krishna" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, August 25, 2003 3:29 PM Subject: [LIH]help > Hello Friends, > > How to set classpath in Linux for Java Programs > permanently. > > Regards, > > > Krishna > > __________________________________________________ > Yahoo!
