You trolling or something ? Or did you actually miss reading the paragraph
right above these dates on the same URL ?

<quote>
Red Hat Linux -- Red Hat's policy for Red Hat Linux distributions is to
provide maintenance for at least 12 months. At certain times, Red Hat may
extend errata maintenance for certain popular releases of the operating
system. End of Life dates for errata maintenance for currently supported
products are listed below:

(The above lines have been on the RH site for a long long time... and as you
can plainly see most of the distro's you have mentioned have been supported
for a LOT longer than 12 months.)

Agreed RH hopes to get more people to migrate to their AS product... but if
they try to force people to make the move by turning off support... people
would rather switch distros than "upgrade".

I see way too many people still using RH7.2/7.3 ... rather hardly anyone is
actually using RH8/9 ! So I don't think RH will be turning off support for
these so soon... I wouldn't be surprised if RH decides to kill support for
RH8 before it kills support for RH7.2/7.3

PS: In case ilugd is members-only... someone please re-post there. TIA.
