We installed Tapeware software on HP Proliant ML 530 G2 server with RedHat Linux ES 2.1. It worked fine. Then uninstalled the Tapeware software. Now, server gives error when tried to mount cdrom. Server can be booted with cd drive (to see if druve is working). Error message shows I/O error.
Can this be hardware problem or software compatibility.
