HelloI have a set of 5 cds. the installtion procedure scanned all the CDs but installed only the base system.
Does any Debain expert know how to upgrade this
system.
Boot into Debian and from the root console run :
# tasksel which would give you menu-based selection of package categories such as :
X, desktop, dialup, games, SQL etc.
However, Debian contains hundreds of other packages which may not still get installed.Hence I
suggest that get into X Window System and open the "kpackage" application which allows you
to select individual packages.Try out and mail back in case of any problem.
