hello all,
        could anyone please help me where i've missed. i've recomplied the kernel
more than 50 times for the boot logo. I enable frame buffer support. Infact
my framebuffer runs well. I've watched movies on the frame buffer too.

the only thing that's f***ing me is that no boot logo comes up. As per the
kernel documentation, enabling the "VESA VGA GRAPHICS SUPPORT" should allow a
boot time penguin, but in hell nothing appears :-( . My BP gets high when I
see the cute penguin at boot time on knoppix.
I tried logo, both on Debian and RedHat but never succeeded . Infact I thought
that might be RedHat might have done some changes to commercialize because of
which the tux doesn't fire up, but that's not the case.
Please help me! Point out where I missed or went wrong. I want to see the tux.

OH! A FORTUNE.

Interesting poll results reported in today's New York Post: people on the
street in midtown Manhattan were asked whether they approved of the US
invasion of Grenada.  Fifty-three percent said yes; 39 percent said no;
and 8 percent said "Gimme a quarter?"
