hi folks,
i use rhl 9 & win98 in my home pc.
i want to recieve my LIH and LIP mails in linux(using mozilla mail) & some other group mails in win98 using outlook express.
i know how to set outlook express to not download Linux
Use IMAP instead of POP3 - let the mails stay on the server, read them off the server.
Currently I have set mozzilla mail to leve messages in the server & outlook express deletes them from there(both using POP3, does IMAP makes any difference?),
but the problem with this setting is that i have to check mail using linux just before i check it from windows, otherwise the outlook will delete any linux group mails possibly not checked by mozilla mail.
there is aloso the problem that i am a member of some yahoo groups for b-tech freshers(i am in the look out for a job) , on average i get 40-50 mails dialy from them ( some of them with huge attachments too) i dont want mozzila mail to download them.
is there a way around this?
is there some other pograms which support POP3 filters & can deliver the mails to the mozilla mail inbox?
