Hello friends,
I would like to know if there is some way in which I could restrict
the users on my linux machine from using more than a particular
disk space (say 100MB). I am looking for something like user quotas
in win 2000. ie. The said user should not be able to use more than
his allocated disk space ....Is there a GUI frontend tool for doing
     this?

1. Disk quota for users is there in Linux. This could be done manually: invoke man quota.
2. The GUI tool is : WEBMIN which is all pervasive.

Also I want to restrict the user to logon only at a certain time of the day (say 10.00 AM - 12.30 PM) At other times, he should not have any access to his account... Is it possible (How?)?

This is done thru' PAM: man pam for more info.Look at the doc available under
/usr/share/doc or RH 8.0 documentation in CD #4
