Anyone can tell me better way for connecting the two machines and sync the data? I use: $>rsync -avP -e ssh -l user [IP of remote machine] /home/user/* [IP of remote machine]:/home/user/.
IP assigned to remote machine is dynamic so I phone and find out the IP before starting this. Questions: 1. I understand it is better to syc with compression. Question is how? 2. How to ensure that rsync continues beyond the point where it left off in the last connection.
