Debian Woody I am not aware. Is there any office suit with it may be openoffice ?

Sure, go ahead and install Debian Woody on them. I am using the same. I have also seen LTSP operating on them, no problem. Only, try to avoid heavy GUI stuff like Gnome & KDE.
