Hello,
    Try this...
     Supposing your mounted CD path is /mnt/cdrom, then you can make an
     exact image of your CD as follows:
     $ dd -if=/mnt/cdrom -of=/home/<your name>/mycd.iso
             OR
You could also try the command :
     $ mkisofs -J -R -iso-level 2 -o /home/<your name>/<name of your iso
     file>.iso /mnt/cdrom
