Or Courier... http://www.courier-mta.org. The best part of Courier is
that a qmail-familiar admin will feel completely at home. If you do

echo qmail > /etc/courier/dotextension

then your .qmail-* files will also be read and used ;-)

Its SMTP AUTH logins can be validated from a number of backends (PAM,
mysql/postgres, LDAP, text files...) - all this out of the box.
