Hi

I am connecting to net using Reliance phone and Linux using the software provided by
Reliance here
http://www.relianceinfo.com/Infocomm/html/rservices/rservices_linux_rconnect.html

It is a WLL phone (Model No - LST 340E) that connects to Serial port (/dev/ttyS0)

But the download speed in Linux is around 2-3 kbps vs 8-10 kbps when using Windows XP
on the same machine.

However there is no problem when using a regular 56kbps modem and kppp where I get 4-5
kbps download speeds which is the same in windows

I have confirmed this using

Redhat 9 (Knoqueror, Mozilla & Mozilla Firebird 0.7)
Mandrake 9.1
Mandrake 9.2
Windows XP (Mozilla Firebird 0.6 and IE)

My /etc/ppp/options file

lock
asyncmap 0
crtscts
modem
defaultroute
usepeerdns
name soman
noauth
/dev/rmodem 115200

Please help me solve this issue

Thanks and Rgds

Ajay
