We are running mail server on RedHat Linux 7.3 with Sendmail version 8.11.6. Antivirus used is Trend Micro Interscan Viruswall for Linux. Now we want to change to Linux 9.0 and Sendmail 8.12. It works fine without antivirus. With antivirus installed, it is observed that the mails are scanned for virus but are not delivered and remain in clientmqueue directory.
Have anybody tried this combination. Help is required.
Run interscan in a "sandwich" mode - don't make it frontend the sendmail install.
sendmail : port 25 --> interscan : port 2525 --> another sendmail --> port 25000 (say)
