I sort of figured as much. The problem is how do I do it. Exim is starting up automatically. Any debian users around ? I gues I'll have to mess with the rc scripts.
/etc/init.d/exim {start|stop|restart}
man update-rc.d to make changes in /etc/rc?.d/
