I have configured my DMPrinter with CUPS and printing is fine. But when I try to abort a printing process, it fails to abort. CUPS allows printing by 'lpr -P Panasonic', since I have Panasonic KXP1150 Dot-Matrix Printer. When I try to abort a printing session by using 'lprm'or 'lprm -P Panasonic', the printer que is no longer visible through 'lpq -l', but the printer keeps printing. Even if switched off and on again, it starts printing garbage and stops only after sometime.
I tried with kjobviewer under KDE, same thing happens. This happens even when printing as root. Man pages suggested 'cancel -a', but even that does not help. Anyone can suggest some other way ? Thanks in advance. -- ********************** K. Ghosh, G. K.
