Hi, * Vinu Chandran <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [040314 23:56]: > > Yes, I've patched qmail with the following patches. I forgot that there is a > qmail-1.03-bounce.patch which i had. Is that the one creating problems ? > qmail-1.03-dns.patch
Why do you need it? Put a local resolving nameserver like dnscache on your machine. No need for this patch. > qmail-1.03-big-todo.patch This too. No need for this if you do not have lots of mailing. I deliver around 50,000 mails daily and I don't need this patch. > qmail-1.03-bounce.patch Not sure what this does exactly. Maybe it is used just to limit size of bounces. But frankly not sure whether this is the culprit. > qmail-1.03-date-localtime.patch Ok. > qmail-1.03-pop3d-stat.patch Not sure if you need this or what it does exactly. My suggestion here is that, you don't patch qmail until you really need that functionality. Why don't just download qmail sources and re-install again. Maybe for you it might be just as simple as typing 'make setup check' and everyhting might start working properly. The issue also is that all those patches might not work together properly. I cannot say for sure because I never used any of these.
