also has instructions on setting up that thing.
as for the original problem, look at the logs files in /var/log/qmail (/
pop3d?). also, make sure your your supervise files are fine. if yu're
using maildir (Maildir/) then verify if Maildir/ is already created in
the home directory of the user. also, it seems yu are using some kind of
a virtual domain manager (vpopmail?) as your username is in the format
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]". so your authentication will be done by the
virtual domain manager (for vpopmail its vchkpw). so, in your qmail-
pop3d's run files use that application instead of checkpassword (which
comes by default).
if yu are not able to figure it out, then install postfix.
