Hello Everybody,

I am trying to do mail set-up and reading the various articles in the web
got confused. I am trying to set up a small LAN of 10 users. They will use
mail between themselves. I am planning to use sendmail for this. Now my
domain hosting agency will have a single mail box that should get all the
mails for my domain. I want to use dial-up networking and use some software
to retrieve all the mails from that mail box and then distribute them in the
sendmail mailboxes. During this dial-up connection all the outgoing mails
should also get delivered.
For this what should I use at the hosting agency?
The mailbox there (that will have all mails for my domain) will be a
catch-all mailbox or is this a multiple mail drop box? What should I ask
them to do?
For retrieval of the mails from the domain hosting agency I want to use
fetchmail. So far as I know the hosting agency is using exim at their end.
Are there any special things that I need to take care of? There are some
articles that point out problems for delivery of BCC mails. Are they
relevant in my case?
With regards,
Goutam
