iptables are Ok, but the person who wants this kind of requirement should need to be well aware about iptables.
Otherwise he is in deep jungles of thick documentions about iptables.


I remember last time when i was needing it.
I found xinetd the best way for port forwarding in no time.
What you need to do just man xinetd.conf & search for redirect.

its called port forwarding. Do it at iptables if you have a linux gateway, or if your connection is done using a router, put this into the router config.
