Well, I managed to change to text mode booting by changing the id:5:initdefault to id:3:initdefault in /etc/inittab
But when I gave the command redhat-config-xfree86, it gave me this error (the last 2 lines):
***** Could not init font path unix/:7100, removing from list Fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed' *****
If required I can send the complete error log (it is quite large)
What should I do now
