Hi,

I am new to this list and need some help with X11/Xserver on RHL9.
I am running a servlet that plots a graph and converts it into a jpeg
image when a client requests the page.
When I log in as root on the server and run "xhost + localhost:0.0"
in the console, the plot/image is displayed on the client machines.

However if I log out, then the localhost no longer remains registered with
Xserver or for some reason the graphics are not displayed on the clients.

I guess this has something to do with xdm and being logged in GUI mode
i.e. telling the xdm to register KDE variables and run the X11 which would
otherwise be run manually and cannot be left logged on as root.

Please advice, how I can make available the graphics even when I log off
from root and everytime the machine reboots, it automatically knows and
tells the xdm what to do in order to display the graphics via X11.

Thank you in advance
