Dear List, IonIdea (http://www.ionidea.com) is looking for a Linux administrator for its facility in Bangalore. The more specific details are as given below:
Desired experience: 4 - 5 years Specific skills: Linux administration (*nix better, since there would also be some Solaris work), perl and bash scripting, webserver admin (Apache, iPlanet), DNS (BIND), basic database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle 8i), mailserver administration (sendmail, qmail), familiarity with administration of OpenLDAP, iptables firewalling, VPN setup and administration. More weight will be given to people with one or more of the following additional skills: Windows 2000 Server admin with experience with MS DNS, IIS, MS ISA server, MS SQL server, MS Exchange server, Cisco routers, basic telecom systems leading up to VoIP.
