boot with mandrake cd. at the boot prompt type "rescue" (without
quotes). the cd will boot and present yu with a number of options. one
of the options would be "Reinstall BootLoader". press ENTER after
selecting that option using the cursor keys and it'll find your mandrake
installation and reload lilo. reboot the machine and yu are done
