Hi
I'm trying to match one mac address of my internal systems at the linux
gateway. I've used iptables command to do that. The line shown below is what I've
executed
iptables -t filter -A FORWARD -i eth1 -m mac --mac-source 00:50:BA:8C:79:F1 -m limit
--limit \
5/minute -j LOG --log-prefix "Local Lan system"
where eth1 is my local interface. But when checking in /var/log/messages, I'm
not finding any request from that mac even though that system is accessing external
net. What i've done wrong? Please suggest...
