I have a strange problem with RH 9.0 DHCP service. This is the scenario.
Please make sure that you change the IP address and other network settings in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file. Changes made through ifconfig are temporary and are lost upon bootup.
