auto.master, auto.misc, but in vain. My current auto.master is:
/misc /etc/auto.misc --timeout=60
Thats ok. Please note that /misc will not be the mount point, but the directory under which the filesystem will be mounted.
and auto.master is
^^^^^^^^^^^ You mean /etc/auto.misc right?
cd -fstype=iso9660,ro,nosuid,nodev :/dev/cdrom
So when you access /misc/cd , maybe thru an ls command, i.e. $ ls /misc/cd
the cd-rom should get mounted.
