There is one more big organization who has silently switched over to Linux without any publicity. That is Life Insurance Corporation Of India. There are more than 4000 servers (distributed mode allover India) running in-house developed application using MFCOBOL and TIBCO for EAI. I was earlier with LIC and involved in network-enabling cobol application and know of this feat. These were earlier Unixware server running Softek cobol applications Regards Pankaj Misra
