You are correct. Keep in mind that xyz.com mailserver does not know if
it is Outlook or another sendmail connecting to it. The idea of having
an xyz.com mailserver is presumably to enable [EMAIL PROTECTED] to receive
emails ;)

Yes, and make sure that you keep only IP addresses in the access file
and not domain names. Better still, configure SMTP AUTH and relay only
for authenticated clients.
