For detailed howto check out pcquest.com they carried the article a few
issues back.
Basically you have to set the following in your /etc/wvdial.conf
replacing S0 with S1 if needed:
[Modem0]
Modem = /dev/input/ttyS0
Baud = 230400
SetVolume = 0
Dial Command = ATDT
Init1 = ATZ
FlowControl = Hardware (CRTSCTS)
[Dialer cdma]
Username = your_phone_number
Password = your_phone_number
Phone = #777
Stupid Mode = 1
Inherits = Modem0

After this just give commend "wvdial cdma" This may be rusty but essence
is this. I think if you are using a USB cable then the /dev/input/ACM0
needs to be used.
