Yeah, I also would like to know if there is a software similar to
Copernic Desktop Search software  and also Picassa ( A google owned
free image searching software) in linux. I used Copernic desktop
search and picassa and am really impressed by the power of the two.
Ofcourse we have "updatedb" which does a nice job in linux to find
files. But Copernic not only searches for the file but also searches
inside archives and in files itself for the search string ... which
makes it really awesome.
