Hi , With allmost all the distros which use the new 2.6 kernel (except Slackware) , I see a fstab entry for removable medias (Cdrom/Cdwriter, floppy, etc.) like this,
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom supermount fs=iso9660,dev=/dev/cdrom,--,ro,iocharset=iso8859-1 0 0 What is supermount ? When I tried this with Slackware (with kernel 2.6.7 included under "testing"), the kernel says "file system supermount not known". I read the man pages for mount, but does not mention any such thing. Nor does any documentation with the kernel sources. Clues/Hints/Did I miss something ?
