dear check this.. 1. netstat -an and ps -ef | grep httpd

if it shows us multiple connections to your webserver then try to see the foreign address in your netstat output.

2. Also check your apaches access_log and error_log files and try to get details of your websserver.

If possible i would like to see few lines out of you access and error log files ..
