We are using qmail + ldap now. I have put assp in front of qmail to block these mails. Any better solution will be greatly appreciated.
qmail will accept all the emails - even to nonexistent addresses - and then generate a bounce later
so you are stuck with a lot of bounces and double bounces
try this patch - http://horde.net/~jwm/software/qmail/verifyrcptto-2.2.5-20030501.patch
or better still get rid of qmail and move to exim / postfix etc that has more sensible behavior (reject unknown users at rcpt to by default)
