Goal is to install FC3 from the Isos itself without burning cds. Googled and came across some links but all talk about network/NFS/cd installs. Recall finding a link which provided the solution but can't locate the link offhand . Anyone know how to do this ? I am assuming floppy is involved in this and the isos need to be loopback mounted. Not sure what files should go into the floppy ?
Standard deadrat or other linux boot floppy, with the iso mounted as a loopfs so that the files in it are accessible ... proceed with the install as usual, and when the time comes to specify the install source, select the loopfs drive you've created as the source
